Bored of sugared almonds? Try chocolate instead!
Wedding Favours are just a small but delicate way of saying thank you to your family and friends on your big day. Historically, favours were five almonds symbolising health, wealth, fertility, happiness and long-life. Today there are many variations available other than almonds but the meaning remains the same.

Treat your guests to a sensational chocolate Wedding cake!
THE HISTORY OF A WEDDING CAKE It is believed the wedding cake dates back to the middle ages, when after the ceremony, the bride would scatter grains on the floor from her wheat bridal bouquet and these would then be made into a cake. The cake would then be broken over the bride's head to ensure good luck and fertility. Did you know the wedding cake is a symbol of fertility? King Charles II then introduced icing and figures onto the top of the wedding cake, such as a Horse-shoe to ensure good luck. The cutting of the wedding cake, is the start of the couple sharing their new life together. It is the first task the newly married couple perform together and it is said that all guests should have a small piece of cake to ensure good luck. Tradition says for a 3-tier wedding cake a couple should kiss above the cake and if they don't knock the cake over, their lives will be full of good fortune!
